Thank you for your interest in the London Stansted Airport Flagship Award.
If your organisation operates within our 'Area of Benefit' then you can apply for a capital grant of up to £50,000. Your project must have a long-lasting benefit for the local community and we would expect projects to have additional / match funding. Please note, this is a capital grant and running costs will not be considered.
Examples of projects which we are keen to fund are:
• Projects which are of special help to specific social groups. For example, voluntary youth groups (scouts, guides, youth clubs), the elderly or disabled.
• Projects which support community life in general such as improvements to facilities such as village halls.
• Infrastructure which supports community use.
• Projects that support community drama, art, music and sporting/leisure activities.
• Environmental and conservation schemes that support access to the countryside / outdoors
Please remember to include the required supporting information including quotations for the for the project, your organisations constitution and your annual financial information including details of additional funding you may have.
Applications are to be submitted by the 5pm on Tuesday 30th September 2025, we will notify shortlisted applicants in late October. The final decision will be made by our committee in December 2025 and we will announce the successful award in early 2026.
The Community Fund Committee withholds the right to split the Flagship Award and award two smaller grants dependent on the number of applications we receive.
